Yup. Finished my book.
REVIEW: 4 stars out of 5
This is the 6th book of a series (The Last Apprentice) and it's about a boy named Tom who is apprenticed to a "Spook," or a seventh son of a seventh son (they have special powers) who fights dark creatures - like witches, boggarts, and ghosts. This particular book (I highly recommend reading the first 5 books first before touching this one) is about Tom going to Greece with the Spook and his mother to fight a goddess named the Ordeen. The trio, and many others, encounter a lot of problems on the way, and eventually face off the Ordeen. There's lots of action, not much emotion, if you like that kind of stuff. The reading level to me is a bit low, though.
I don't have a preview for next week just yet. It's either going to be another Sarah Dessen book or The Exiled Queen, by Cinda Williams Chima, though. Bye peoples!

Grr. School has impaired me.
Yup. That's why I haven't been on for a long time. Need I say more?
I wonder what my blog should really be about...I know people don't want to read me rambling on about my life. I know! Book reviews!
THIS WEEK'S BOOK: (I read a lot, so the book of the week will change every week/post)
Keeping the Moon, by Sarah Dessen
I have always loved Sarah Dessen. Her books are amazing. This one is not my favorite, but it is good all the same. All of Dessen's books have an underlying theme in them, and this one is not that hard to discern. I will not state it, so you can find out on your own. But I will say that the characters are well formulated, and the main character, Colie, is easy to relate to and feel sympathetic towards. Nice for keeping your mind off things.
*Has no action; deals with emotions
Preview of next week - right now I'm reading The Last Apprentice: Clash of the Demons, the 6th book in the Last Apprentice series.
